Alpine Lake

I love how these ones turned out. The enamel starts as pale sky blue at the top and deepens to a rich cobalt at the bottom, with tiny flecks of colour scattered through the middle like wildflowers on a mountainside.
They're handmade, torch-fired copper enamel earrings, made in my studio in Cobh, East Cork. The long, slim asymmetric triangle shape is light on the ear, and they hang from simple hook ear wires. Because each pair is torch-fired, the flecks fall differently every time, so no two pairs are the same. Handmade in Ireland by Thistle Design Glass.
