Tideline earrings are handmade in East Cork, Ireland, from copper discs torch-fired with vitreous enamel.
Each disc is half polished warm copper and half a speckled white and amber enamel, flecked with green, blue, red and gold glass. The dark, fire-scaled edge where the two meet is left just as the flame made it, so no two pairs are quite alike.
An upcycled vintage glass drop in soft blue hangs from the base of each disc and catches the light as you move. Together they give a lightweight, everyday statement earring with a coastal feel. The earthy copper and cool blue palette suits linen, denim and chunky knitwear.
These one of a kind Tideline earrings are made by hand at Thistle Design Glass in Cobh, East Cork, using traditional torch-fired enamel techniques. Because the enamel is fired by hand, the speckle and copper tones vary from pair to pair.
Care: Keep your enamel jewellery dry and store it flat. Avoid dropping it on hard surfaces, and wipe it gently with a soft cloth.
