Denim Stripr Torc Necklace

A handmade copper enamel torc necklace inspired by the stripes and faded tones of denim and rugged workwear. Bands of turquoise and sky blue run across a crisp white ground, with a warm orange stripe and deep forest green at the top. A feathered swirl of blue and white drifts down through the stripes.

Each pendant is torch-fired in my East Cork studio, near Cobh in Ireland. Bare copper shows through at the top, with a darkened fire-scale edge where the enamel meets the metal. The speckled, slightly worn texture of the stripes gives it a lived-in, denim feel. No two pieces come out the same.

The round enamel pendant hangs from a rigid torc-style collar, so it sits neatly at the base of the neck with no chain or clasp. It looks great over plain knits, shirts and open collars.

Care: Keep dry and store flat. Bare copper is sealed with Renaissance Wax, which can be re-applied over time.
